This plane flies great with the Frio / Apollo motor/esc that you can find over at House of Hobbies (231-759-4555). Put a 3 cell 20-30c lipo on it (1000 mAh) and you'll be happy.

Set the plane up so that it balances just a little tail heavy at 2 3/4" from the leading edge.
