Ok guys, you have all been having so much fun with these planes and I'm seriously considering getting my own bird...
What are the key features to look for when browsing the long list of "Perfect Trainers"?
Too many to choose from... I am lost. I'm thinking Gas, but it has it's own issues I'm thinking Electric - but flight times are limited.
What is your advice?

glow or electric is my advice. high wing & 4 channels I have a PT 40 with no motor but servos, i'll make you a hell of a deal. needs receiver, battery, motor (40-46 size) new fuel tank and a little TLC . I got it with some other stuff. I never flew it but the previous owner used it to train a bunch of people.

Well, I'm not sure how much I'll be able to actually get to the field to fly, so I am kind of leaning towards an electric foamy. Not to mention that Ron has already started to construct one for me for just a few bucks.
You'd mentioned a "High Wing", and others - not just PCRC members - have said that doesn't matter. I should get into one that I can grow into. Better areobatics capability...etc...
And those of you who have mentioned high wing always come back to stability as the main reason. Are there other benefits to the high wing?
