Lyle,
Did you get the Email with the admin/password?
You'll find that it's different from what you had - but it is the standard for forums. Not to mention for a free forum service - it's pretty darn good.
I may upgrade to a paid account if the revenue supports it - but I'm not allowed to tell you to click on the ads on the site, that would break my agreement with Google & the other advertisers! So I am not telling you to click on them - I'm not telling you at all to click on them. I wouldn't ever do that - never never never....

Welcome LarryS - I know it's a different format than what you guys have all gotten used to from the other site. I'm still working on cleaning up the new site & will hopefully make it a place you'll all be proud to call home.

What resolution are you all running at? Normally I create webpages/websites for the 87% of the population who are running at 800x600. But if you guys are running at higher screen resolutions I will re-organize the site for 1028x768. This will make it easier to add the chat room and other features.
To find out what resolution you are at: RIGHT CLICK on the desktop then go to properties and then click on the "Settings" tab. The slidebar will tell you the resolution you are currently set to.
Thanks -

I would have to guess at this point that the stay logged in forever is not working for you because of your internet security settings - but before I say for sure, I'll contact the board support & see what they have to say. It's been working fine for me - WinXP Home SP2 with the origional security settings. What operating system and version are you running? They will probably want to know.
The time frame for the chat - that will be running later this afternoon. I'm updating all pages right now so it will be included. You'll be able to browse almost every page of the site with the chat window running.

I tried to get to the support pages at Proboards... but it appears that their website is down right now. At least the forum server is running!

Gary - I found a person having a similar problem and this is what they were told:
[Tell him to go to Tools ~> Internet Options ~> Privacy ~> Sites. Tell him to type in your URL (since you didn't give one, I'll just leave it to you to give him the URL). Then he must click "Allow" and, finally, "OK". Tell him to close out of all his browser windows and reopen.
This is assuming he uses Internet Explorer. /i]
It could be your privacy settings are blocking the forum's cookie. It is a small program that keeps the login info on your system.
Check the privacy settings & if it doesn't work, let me know.
